Awarded annually for the most outstanding performance of a folk or multilingual song by a Community Choir

The Ukrainian National Federation, St. Boniface Branch, donated the Walter Klymkiw Trophy to the Winnipeg Music Festival in 2000, in recognition of Mr. Klymkiw’s outstanding contribution to choral music.  This trophy was originally awarded for the most outstanding performance by a Community Choir in a Concert Group.  Currently, it is awarded annually for the most outstanding performance of a folk or multilingual song by a Community Choir.
